Becoming a PADI Divemaster is the first professional diving role. To become a PADI Divemaster you must first be a qualified rescue diver have at least 6 months of diving experience be an emergency first responder and to have at least 60 logged dives.

Podvodnyi Mir offers divers many options to become a PADI Divemaster either through a specific Divemaster course or a tailor-made internship package. Whichever option you decide on Podvodnyi Mir will give the best Divemaster training possible.

On completion of your PADI Divemaster course you will be expected to be involved in the day to day running of the dive center, preparing and washing, and assembling equipment. Guiding qualified divers, assisting instructors with teaching, and assisting with Discover scuba divers.

During Divemaster training, candidates learn dive leadership skills through classroom, independent study and practical training exercises. The candidates complete water skills and stamina exercises, training exercises that improve their ability to organize and solve problems and help others to improve their abilities.

Candidates put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or a series of practical training exercises, including the candidate assisting in actual diving programs with real diving students. The minimum age to become a PADI dive master is 18
